  • The Alumni Chronicles: Harnessing the Press Start Experience

I worked at Press Start Academy as a Learning Strategy Associate this summer of 2023, and the short time I got to spend there presented me with so much to learn and absorb. I got to explore a different side of education, which formal institutions do not cater to in such depth - gamification and student agency.

  • Play, Learn... Collaborate: Designing Our New Website

To all of our beloved readers - we’ve got some exciting news to share with you! After working tirelessly over the past year to ramp up our programs for both students and teachers, we wanted a fresh space to showcase all the cool things we're up to. And with that, we’re thrilled to announce that our brand new website is finally here!

  • From the Traditional to the Creative: A year in the Press Start Academy classroom

Over the seven years I've been teaching English in traditional classrooms, I have often felt restricted and limited by the approaches I could take to deliver materials. • How AI Can Change the Way We Teach

Teachers are often burdened with administrative tasks and responsibilities that take up a significant amount of their time, including everything from record-keeping to creating worksheets and lesson plans. According to a survey by EdWeek and OECD, teachers spend almost half their working hours on non-teaching tasks! As a result, they may have less time and energy to focus on their primary responsibilities, such as engaging with their students.

  • Ideas Jam! A breath of fresh air for networking

At the start of 2023, a major part of my choice to join Tatler Asia was the knowledge that Tatler Gen.T strives to craft events that stand out. This promise is not only based on the astounding talent displayed by the Tatler events team but also because of Gen.T’s conviction for discovering fresh avenues to engage its community of honourees.
