Characters are the driving force in stories; by designing compelling characters, captivating stories can be made.

In "A Character of Your Own," students design an original character and an accompanying digital comic to illustrate the world in which their character lives. From understanding the components of a character-driven story to the artistic process behind character design, students flesh out their character both visually and descriptively through a blend of AI via Midjourney and creative writing. Find out just what kind of character your child will make through "A Character of Your Own!"

Remark: Students will be required to bring along their own computer / iPad / mobile device to participate in class and use the AI tools.
