Beginner’s creative writing: World-building, character creation, story structure
Note: This is an in-person program that will take place at our Shatin satellite venue at theDesk, 18/F Tower 1 Grand Central Plaza, Sha Tin, Hong Kong.
It’s time to create a world of your own!
Each student will create their own world, story, and characters for their own fictional universe. Their worlds will consist of diverse landscapes, cultures, and characters.
Along the way, they will learn about story structures and genres; make connections between actions and consequences; make use of the 5Ws and past experiences to build their own worlds and characters.
By the end of this program, students will present their unique worlds while using the “Hero’s Journey” story structure.
